Final Flag Design

The design use a consistent contrasting yellow black colour scheme, reminiscent of Acid House and the underground rave scene the genre is associated with and takes inspiration from.  The Harbour typeface is a merge of both calligraphic and blackletter typography relating to how the genre merges many genres together by taking inspiration from many. The typeface is a clean, sharp cut type, communicating the nature of the dance craze ‘Cutting Shapes’ which derives from the Deep Tech genre. The illustrative elements show a step by step dance map of the popular dance craze ‘shuffling’ or ‘cutting shapes’ which derives from the Deep Tech scene.
