Version 4 and further development

I wanted to change the colour scheme to improve upon the mundane and quite boring black and white as it wasn’t very engaging and going through the application wasn’t interesting. I still wanted a simple, safe and limited colour palette that would appeal to more users and still wanted something that wouldn’t get too much if trying to use the app for a while.

The first page I re-designed was the sign in page. The page set me up for the theme and design of the rest of the application and was a great step in the re-design. In my previous attempts id focused on the ‘Cupboard’ page first, which didn’t work and didn’t allow me to create something that was legible, easy to use and engaging enough.

I tweaked a few things further, dropping the coloured header for a black header with a subtle drop shadow to hang over the content on each page. Then got to filling out the content and animating it into something I could submit.
