Yorkshire Sculpture Park- Trip

As part of the Studio Brief, we took a trip to the Yorkshire Sculpture Park, to gain ideas that could further develop our work. We looked around the whole of the park but focussed mainly on the current exhibitions such as Occasional Geometries, curated by Rana Begum, Tony Gragg’s open air exhibitions and work from Ai Weiwei. I came away with ideas on how to try and create some typographic forms using some of the images I had taken while on the trip. The Occasional Geometries exhibition stood out to me as my favourite, especially a piece by Rasheed Araeen called ‘Zero to Infinity.’
