Logotype- Occasional Geometries Idea Development

Looking at different techniques, methods and research sources I began to produce some initial ideas for my logotypes. Using methods such as cutting up the future typeface and its letterforms and placing them in random shapes, I was able to produce quite a few different ideas which would influence my final logotype design.

I also began to look at the utilising the geometric nature of the futura typeface. The typeface is constructed using both angular and circular geometric forms. To help this inform my ideas I started looking at creating a logotype based around these two ideas, one logotype using circular forms and one angular. This would not only tie into the future typeface but would link back to the exhibition through the use of geometric form.
