Brand Guidelines

Through further discussion, experimentation and development we agreed on a set of brand guidelines that Josh produced that could be used across all applications. The guidelines would use a modular grid system across all posters, social media pieces, websites etc which would outline rules for a consistent type hierarchy. These guidelines for the typography consisted of these rules. The header type would be 195px (or 9 Modules across by 2 modules, sub headings 25px (or at least 1 module across by 0.5 modules high) and the body text 11px with would would across all applications. We also incorporated line breaks that could be used to break up type, type and image or type and negative space that would be 10 modules across with a 0.75px weight for open or larger bits of type and closed or smaller type break at 7 modules across with the same 0.75px weight. The breaks would leave a single module gap between it and the type or image it sits with. The type sizes and weights did not have to be used for experimental type though experimental type still has to abide by the grid system.
