Initial ideas

After discussion between me and Josh we both began to outline a plan as to what we wanted to produce. We thought of the idea of the exhibition that would centre around pieces submitted by various creatives that focused round a particular topic. The current focus of the exhibition was the alphabet and the deliverable would be a logotype or a collection of logotypes.

I started to get some ideas by coming up with names and a few possible logomarks for the exhibition. I liked the idea of the exhibition relating to the to subject or to the actual process of the exhibition. After listing various initial ideas me and Josh came together and decided upon the name “Submission.” Submission would reflect the process of artwork curation which would be via a submission process.

(i'm aware the spelling of submission is catastrophically wrong however it didn't affect the initial ideas process of my work. Looking at the exhibit name in context across various logotypes and typefaces was more of a look at how the typefaces worked in context rather than the wording.)
