Exhibition Design Research

Creixem al Carme

Looking more at an exhibit/exhibit space identity I looked at Creixem al Carme. This brand incorporates colour and simple typography to create a really nice, playful and fresh identity.
The uses of a bright, pastel colour attract the viewer and gives the viewer the idea of playfulness and positivity while the stripped back, black and white elements see a more formal side to the brand. The brand uses a beautiful sans serif type across all application and incorporates a heavy use of negative space across all the brand with the addition of simple geometric shapes to reflect the idea of learning through art and the variations of geometric shapes reflect the idea of endless visual solutions.

I want to try and incorporate a style such as this with our work. I want to try and create a body of work that consistently communicates its ideas through the branding of the project as well as the content It contains. I love the type heavy posters and the impact that has on the viewer.

No Material Difference

No Material Difference is a fine art graduation exhibit. The visual identity is a really nice minimal, bare bones, Modular grid based brand with heavy use of negative space, type and imagery.

I really like the minimal style of the exhibit. The branding allows the pieces to be prominent with the exhibit branding holding the pieces neutrally and without interference
