Jorge Gutiérrez

Jorge Gutiérrez is a great example of exploration of type, negative space and imagery within design. His album artworks incorporate current design trends with old school imagery, negative space and hierarchy in both his design and typography. This example (3) is great for showcasing some of his simple yet experimental album artworks and use of typography and imagery. The artwork shows bold, slab type that jumps out to the viewer and a simple image with an old school photography style. His designs are all unique and focus heavily on typography, imagery and a really nicer merger of the two.
