In terms of experimentation Only Studio’s branding for Lost Village is a really good example. The brand uses consistent themes throughout, with handwritten type and illustrations across the identity. It mixes hand written/DIY elements with modern, negative space heavy design that makes the identity work really well. I want to try and incorporate this use of negative space heavy and experimental typography. The idea of the DIY, homemade elements of the branding can be transferred across to my own work, with the indie rock genre having a similar ethos.
