Initial Shoot

My initial shoot of neon typography around Leeds was taken using an iPhone 7 and aimed to show a few examples of neon typography and acted as a starting point for my ideas. I wasn't out to capture a specific neon sign, typeface or colour, I just wanted to capture the variety of neon signage in the city. I combined these with some of my previous examples of neon typography taken in other cities, nightclubs etc for a collection of images as a starting point. 

I always knew I was going to move onto shoot on a professional camera however was unsure whether I was going to shoot on film or on DSLR. I was aware that this choice would be important in shaping the style of my publication.
